How high do pet rabbits jump?
I have a pet rabbit, I have made a rabbit pen which is about 1.5 mtrs high, and I was wondering would my bunny be able to jump that clearence? Thanks
It sort of depends on how determined your bunny is!
I have one who couldn’t care less about what goes on outside in the rest of the world and he does just fine with a gate that’s only a foot tall. My Mini-Rex on the other hand *HATES* to be denied anything and has already managed to scale his way up and over two baby-gates (combined height = 2 meters). If your pen is indoors, you could put a “top” on it by clothspinning a sheet over it.
Also remember: pet bunnies are descendants of the European rabbit and are awesome diggers so make sure you also have a “bottom” to your pen!
